We are on version 4.05.05.  I would like to unauthorize users using a query, that is tied into our hr system, when a user is terminated.  I can't find the database column that seems to relate to this.  I tried IsApproved inaspnet_users, but that doesn't seem to work.

I believe that the IsApproved column is in aspnet_Membership not aspnet_Users. The column that DNN appears to use to mark an unauthorized user is actually 'Authorised' in the UserPortals table. Note the spelling of this column.

I would also recommend not accessing these tables via SQL directly but rather setting that field via the appropriate core API (property Membership.Approved on the UserInfo class) since table structure can and will most likely change as the DNN framework is upgraded.

Thanks for the info.  My bad on where that column was.  I grabbed the wrong tablename out of my query.  I modified my query and all works fine now.  I am not accessing the API since this is a query that is scheduled to run as a SQL Server Agent job on a weekly basis.  If it stops working, I'll just have to tweek it again.

Also, sorry for the delay on responding to this.  I thought I had requested to be notified if this post was answered, but I never got a notification.  I have been busy and forgot about this issue until now.

Again, thanks for the help.
