 I am in the process of rebuilding my development environment due to a disk failure.  I am using VS2005 and DNN 4.4.1.  I was able to restore the source code but lost the development database so I have to use a recent backup of the production system. 

My problem is that when I try to run the application in VS default.aspx never loads.  What I get instead is a browser page for http://localhost/localstart.asp.  I'm using the default web server for the site and I initially see the url http://localhost:1519/WebSte/Default.aspx in the browser but then it changes immediately to the one above. Default.aspx is set as the start page.  Debugging is turned on and I have a breakpoint at the page_load event which never is hit.

I'd appreciate any help.  I've been fighting this all day and can figure what is going on.

do not try to run DNN on a different port, use host header instead in IIS web site configuration: 

use a domain name, you enter as an alias to c:/windows/system32/etc/drivers/hosts using a text editor

If using WinXP, use free XpProIisAdmin from www.jetstat.com/iisadmin.
