Hi,

I have to do new a specific version of my website for mobile device, which will have a shorter number of elements to display, less grafic elements, less pages and no menù at all. This version should also have a link to the complete version of the website. I was wondering how to achive this, since I'd like to a have a straight redirect to the right version of the website if the request comes form a mobile browser. Can anyone give me some tips?

One way to do this would be to create a page / tab to act as your home page.  Then create an ascx skin that contains code in the page load event that checks the browser and redirects to the correct page for mobile devices or for all others.  Then set this skin as the skin for your home page.

the link from the mobile pages to the standard page should point to the other landing page not your home page.

Hope this makes sense.

Try searching these forums for MobiNuke - there has been a lot of discussions on this...

I use MobiNuke to power the PokerDIY Mobile App - but I am going to switch to a custom solution due to the bugs in MobiNuke and lack of support. I highly recommend that you do not use it, but it is a very good solution to the problem conceptually.

I've heard about MobiNuke but there seem to be many more complaints about it than praise or even positive info on it. Also when I went to the website I found for it - there is nothing there now. Are there any stable DNN modules for creating a mobile website? What about DNNSpot Store? Thanks for any help.
