I've created a simple module, located it in a page which have Edit+View permissions to the Host user and View permissions to a regular user I created.
The module work perfectly in the page, under the  Host user (which is in Edit mode, by default), but malfunction under the regular subscribed user (which is under View Mode). In the Module definition, I initialy set the module controls so that both the Edit content and View Content will use the Edit page. Afterwards I copied the content of the view.ascx page to the view.ascx page (DesktopModules/<Module Name>/View<Module Name>.ascx, but this doesn't help also.

Only when I give the regular user Edit permissions in that page - This user success to operate the module, but then he sees all the unnecessary options.
What am I mssing here - how can I configure the page + module so that it can be executed successfully under a regular user with View Permissions (or other permissions which allow him operate the module without  seeing extra data) ?

Please support

Just check the View permissions for the "Register user" on the Page settings as well as in the Module Settings.

Amrish Sharma, Thanks for the rapid reply, but I''ve already done that -"located it in a page which have Edit+View permissions to the Host user and View permissions to a regular user I created."

Anything else, Maybe ?

In the module's settings, make sure that the Cache Time is set to 0.

Bill, Did it - didn't help.
2 wonderments:
1. why in the View mode the module (mal)function differently than in the View mode even though they are both pointing to the same ascx page? (Is this the right way to do it ?)
2. What (If there is any) is the way to let the subscribed user to work under edit mode (kind of work-around) without seeing the rest of the options?
