i had created two modules that successfully fire and  the events, but the problem that i am getting is that when i try store a variable in my ASCX file which is of type GUID it only stores it well when the module is handling the fired event. i have caching turned off for the recieving module, and im using C# for this. what can be the problem?

How are you storing the value? You must be sure to put it to viewstate or some other location to ensure that the next request can get access to it.

what i am doing is basically getting the data from the event args of the listener, and assigning it to my desired variable, in the meantime i found a small workaround by assigning the variable to an invisible field but i would like to get rid of this thing. i had read that view state can be quite problematic.
