I´m stuked right now.

The abstraction of the database repository is cool, indeed, but I´m really sure I won´t use another database with my project. I intend to use just SQL Server.

Does anyone made modules using directly SQL Server, without using so many layers to get and persist data, only using the SqlDataSource resource.

Is it possible in DNN ?

Use the DotNetNuke 4.0.0 Starter Kit and Templates... Get the module template working then rip out the code and replace it with your own. Should take only 3 mintes once you have done it a few times.
