please tell me

how can i bind a drop down list with fie id ,

 i have a folder in which there are so many files i want to bind the file with file id how can i get its file id plz help

you can use databinding (http://wiki.asp.net/404.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/themes/fan/pages/page.aspx/477/dropdownlist/) - http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/articles/052803-1.aspx is a good example of getting files in a folder. To get the details use the selectedindex
