I added a Documents Module to my portal but would like one that allows uploads as well as downloads. What is the best option? Should I use VS 2005 to roll my own using the DNN module as a base or are there good ones available with source code from vendors? I have looked at a free one that can be downloaded from WillowTree Software but don’t mind paying for one either if it has good features and support. I am looking for some good security features and would like source code. Any recommendations?

Thanks, I would appreciate any advice.

Today  DotNetNuke4.3/3.3 RC1 has been released. It contains UserDefinedTable3.3.0 . This version introduces a new Datatype Download which uses the new Security Storage enhancements. Second you can set up Add and Edit permissions for roles. This both new features will help you to provide Upload features too.

If you have any more questions regarding this UseCase, please use our UDT forum.
