Hello,

I have asked this question before but never received an answer.  My main doamin is running DNN 4.03 I have several sub-domains.  I need to create a cookie with username and emailaddress to implement a SSO.  Everthing I have tried so far has failed.

How can I create a custom cookie to use for my sub-domains with username and email after the user signs in and authenticated?

Please Help!
Bryan

I tried putting this code into the signin.ascx.vb but it does not work

Dim authCookie As New HttpCookie("DomainUser")
Dim dnnUserInfo As New DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo

If (_userID > 0) Then
' Authenticated with DNN

If objSecurity.UserLogin(txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text, PortalId, PortalSettings.PortalName, ipAddress, chkCookie.Checked) <> -1 Then

'Create custom cookie

authCookie.Values.Add("username", txtUsername.Text)

authCookie.Values.Add("emailAddress", dnnUserInfo.Membership.Email.ToString)

Response.Cookies.Add(authCookie)

........

Am I putting this code in the correct place how can I create a custom cookie after the user authenticated?

Please Help

Bryan
