Hi

I have installed the Dnn 4.3.1 starter kit into VS2005 my machine is running XP Pro. When trying to view the site in my browser it takes AGES for it to load and the same thing when I try to log in....It must take a good 5 mins

Any possible clues as to why this is? I have done the same thing on another machine running XP home and it is OK

Thanks

It could be because of the whole precompilation model.

Try my tutorial about dev. env. setup for module development... it proved very fast to me (both in VS and in browser)

What else do you have running on your machine that's slow? Do you have a virus program running like McAfee VirusScan?
