Does anyone have any example of how to use the built in DNN menu within a module?

I cannot find anything that tells me what the <@ Register line should be.

If I type <dnn:MENU into the source view on a page I get command not recognised on the MENU statement.

Also, Can I switch all menus used on the site to use the ASPNET2MenuProvider in one go?

Regards

OK, I have found out <%@ Register statement but I have hit another problem.

in my page/ascx file I have

<%@ Register TagPrefix="DNN" Namespace="DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls" Assembly="DotNetNuke.WebControls" %>

 <DNN:DNNMenu id="NavMenu" runat=server ></DNN:DNNMenu>

If I use the property editor to create menu nodes, when I finish, they don't get added to the menu!

What am I doing wrong?

Please can someone help on this issue?

At the moment I cannot add a menu to a .ascx control on a module I am trying to write.

Surely this is newbie tutorial stuff!

How can I add a DotNetNuke menu control to a .ascx control?

Are you talking about the new DNN Menu or the SolPart object - and on a page (as in a skin) or a container for a module?

Or are you adding the menu object as a part of the actual module?  What would be the contents of the menu items in your case?  Navigation or configuration of the module?
