I need help with fixing a module coded during the Seaburry times. The module is working. The last time it was compiled was around 2010. None of the code has been changed and it is due for an upgrade. It is coded in ASP.net v2 but I want to eventually have it running ASP.net v4 as soon as possible.

But before any real upgrades can be done, I need to fix a "Dataprovider is not defined." error. When I first coded the module all references were done. Apparently that isn't the case, based on a few web searches. It seems my reference aren't correct. Someone please point me in the right direction. I don't know where to start.

Thanks.

this can happen if the project is not setup correctly e.g. if it is not part of the application so it cannot read the web.config settings to work out what the dataprovider details are (see http://www.chrishammond.com/blog/item... for an example of correctly setting up a project within the website)
