Hi,

I am having problems with WAP.

I started using VS 2005 WAP with a multiple project solution for module development.

I had set up my base configuration for classes etc.

The next stage was to move to the UI.

Issue:

When I try to add a third-party control to a ascx file the following occurs:

Either:

1). The control and tag prefix are added to the user control and then no reference is registered in references.  I have to add manually;

or

2). Depending on the third-party control it adds the control, registers the prefix and adds a reference;

or

3). Completely bombs out with the following error:

"Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component."

Any help would be greatyfully appreciated.

Whatever is causing this issue is bringing my dev work to a complete stand still...  and I don't really want to go back to 2003.

Cheers.....
