If I set a pages autorefresh option to e.g. 20 seconds, I have noticed that it only takes effect on the first control of a module.

Why is this and is it possible to make it work on subsequent controls of a module?

I'm not sure what you mean - from memory the auto-refresh just adds a simple meta-refresh tag, which happens at the page level. I believe it also does an additional check and if it finds the string "edit" in the URL it ignores the refresh as this typically indicates the user is in edit mode e.g. adding text/html or a forum post, and they would not want a page refresh part way through their work.

Thanks Cathal.

I will have to try and find the "Edit" line to ensure it doesn't refresh.

Found it!

For the benefit of others

If you have a 'CTL' in the URL it doesn't insert the refresh code.

e.g. through EditUrl()
