Weird

Here's the situation. I created a Web Service that uses the users business layer to update users profile from another app. It works flawleslly on my development server, but whe moved to prod something weird happens. I update the user info through the web service and it works. When i log in with that user, the info displayed is still the old one. I then log in as the admin of the site a go to the User Accounts tab and find the user that I modified. The new info is displayed.

So when the user logs in the old data is displayed. When seeing the user from the User Accounts as the admin, the new data is displayed.

To make matters weirder (is that a word???) i check the db and the users and the aspnet_profile table has the new data.

I thought it could be a caching problem. I checked the cache setting of the host and it's off. I changed computers to make sure it wasn't a local caching problem and still the same results. What could be the problem?

I'm using dnn 4.x with SQL Server 2005 (of course ASP.NET 2.0)

Thanks in advanced...

this looks like a caching issue (caching is for unauthenticated users only)

Caching is off on the server and I changed computers to make sure it wasn't local caching. I even checked 12 hours later. I wouldn't think caching will be on for 12 hours. I'm also authenticating.

Any other ideas? Do you want me to display the values of the DB and show a picture of the user info displayed on profile page?

Today I checked again and the new user info is now displayed with no problem. So i told myself maybe it is a caching issue. So i updated the data again and now the old data is displayed again. So i log in as a host and cleared the cache (host settings) and didn't work. The old data is still displaying. I remember seeing a function called synchusers on the usercontroller class. Do you guys think i need to call that?
