I'm beginning to get the hang of ASP.NET 2.0 and the ideas in programming modules for DNN.  But one thing I do have a question on.

I've created a new site for DNN 4.3.4 through VWD quickstart samples.  The site created fine, I've created my SqlDataAdapter, DataAdpater, Info, and BLL classes for my module.  I've taken note of the various changes between vs2003 and VWD.

But when I drag a GridView to my View page, and I go to configure the ObjectDataSource, my BLL layer is not visible.  Everything compiles without errors (which was a reason for some in .NET 2.0 Tutorials I followed).

I'm assuming I should still be able to use the VWD interface to setup the ObjectDataSource and all.

Am I missing something?  Thanks much

After a break from thinking...  I've come to realize that in the ASP.NET 2.0  tutorials, you create a Strong typed DataSet which your BLL will work with...  But I haven't read or seen anything like that in a DNN 4.xx tutorial, so I'm assuming it's not used.

But could you use it?  Or would it cause problems?  Any ideas? Thoughts?

Well actually ObjectDataSource not seeing your BLL is a known thing. What you can do is manually write in the property values instead of going through the wizard.

That way everything will work.
