Does this mean you can you pass parameter to login ex.

http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/myid/1234/tabid/795/ctl/Login/Default.aspx

Login will then redirect as

http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/myid/1234/tabid/795/Default.aspx.

Can anyone explain "Preserve Login Parameters"?

Thanks

In previous versions if you got stopped by the Login screen on the way to a module it would eat the querystring variables, and then continue redirecting you after login to thepage which would then fall over (for example in my Events module you pass in an EventsID to the EventDetail page).  This now preserves and passes it "through" the login page so that it continues to work.

This is something that should have been implemented a long time ago but I'm glad it is here now!

Thank you Rodney,

That is also what i thought but when i tried it

if UserID=0

   Response.Redirect(Replace(NavigateURL("Login"), "Login", "/Login/ItemID/" + ItemID.ToString), True)

endif

When user logs in the ItemID is not passed.   Hw are you able to preserve and pass querysting through?

Thanks in advance.

Canh you paste the querystring here when you are on the log in page so we can see where the problem is?
