I have a DNN 4.0.2 application fully developed in VS 2005. Also I use several Custom modules in the project.

When we create a DNN module, we have basically three files - View, Edit and the Settings. Since my module requires a process flow, I created more .ascx pages, and invoked those pages in View.ascx using the "MultiView" property.

The "Print" Icon is present only the default "View" page. Thereafter I am moving to different .ascx pages.

How can I bring the print Icon in the subsequent pages? or is there any way that I can print the "ContentPane" of the subsequent pages.......??

I request anyone to come with some valuable suggestions. I am stuck at this point.

Thanks

Praveen

Thanks for the reply

In another thread related to this subject (http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/111/threadid/54293/scope/posts/Default.aspx), I find that when we upgrade to the latest version of DNN (say 4.3.3), we can avail the above of facility (Finding the Print Icon in all the manually created .ascx pages, rt?)

Could anyone please confirm this? Because I am going to try upgrading my package DNN 4.0.2 to 4.3.3.

Also could anyone site some forum links that best describes the different steps in upgrading the package successfully?

Thanks

Praveen

In 4.3.3, do "Print" Icon appear in all the .ascx pages that we create explicitly....?

Waiting for someone to help me on this

thanks

Praveen

the appearance of the print icon for a module requires:

  • including a print Skin Object in the container
  • activating the "display print" in module setting
