Hi,

We're trying to integrate the infragistics webhtmleditor in DNN by extending the htmleditor provider.  So far, most of it's functions work but it shows some javascript related glitches.  For example: dropdownlists do not collapse back properly.

I've read a few posts here about the problems that arise when integrating Infragistics controls with DNN.  Apparently some people did manage to get these controls working.

The tips I've seen on this forum include:

  • Make sure that ig_common is available
  • Check if Infragisticsx.WebUI.Shared.vx.x.dll is referenced

Does anyone have experience with this type of problem or have any other stuff we should check?  Thanks!

Issue resolved!

The infragistics code-behind wasn't able to locate a control whose id was passed using javascript.

When you implement the infragistics htmleditor using the dnn htmleditor provider, make sure that you set the control Id during initialization in code-behind and don't use any underscores or some javascript functions will not be able to locate some needed controls.
