Hi

I am trying to consume an external webservice from with in a module. I have developed the module using vs2005 and dnn4.3.5 source. When i run the module on my development machine it runs as expected, but as soon as I package it up and install it on our hosted site(no source) i get an error:

Error: MLR_ClaimantDetails is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: d:\customer\medicolegal\public\DesktopModules\MLR_ClaimantDetails\ViewMLR_ClaimantDetails.ascx.vb(94): error BC30451: Name 'CommonGUI' is not declared. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: d:\customer\medicolegal\public\DesktopModules\MLR_ClaimantDetails\ViewMLR_ClaimantDetails.ascx.vb(94): error BC30451: Name 'CommonGUI' is not declared. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Could someone please point me in the right direction in how to troubleshoot this.

Many thanks

Brad

Hi Brad,

Could you give an Url and/or some info on how to embed it. I am busy working on a familiar thing. I might run into the same problems and could provide you help by then. I have a webservice not embeded in DNN and I have add it to a desktopmodule now.

Jelle
