Hi,

I'm experiencing problems when deploying a modified version of DNN 4.3.5 core. It works fine on my local machine, but when I try to deploy it using Web Deployment Projects weird things start happening. Menu-text on the action buttons start dissappearing, and some admin-pages (including users and file manager) will crash. My only modification is to the admin/skins/links.ascx.vb

Any ideas?

Regards,
Sjur

I'm not aware of anyone that using Web Deployment projects to deploy DNN.

I believe that most people XCOPY and setup SQLServer/IIS then edit web.config.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I'm pretty new to 2.0-developement - so is it the "website"-folder of the installation you put on the server then?

Regards,
Sjur

You should be able to use the install version and still make the changes. The install version would also be easier to deploy.
