Hi,

I am developing a DNN 4 module that will have a Videoegg player inside a FormView (part of the user's profile).
Videoegg's code involves a javascript include, a DLL and some Javascript code that needs to be injected in the place where the video panel should appear.

Obviouslely Response.Write() is not a good way to do it, as it's not working.

So how can I inject this javascript code into the DNN stream AND in the correct place?

Many thanks!

Ofer

The preferred way of injecting code via ASP.NET 1.1 or 2.0 is through the Page object.  You have the ability to register client script - general javascript functions or startup script which is javascript that will run as the page executes.  The syntax is a bit different depending on the version of the .net framework you are within.

Uunder 1.1 the calls were made directly off the Page object.  In ASP.NET 2.0 the calls are made off of the Page.ClientScript object.  DNN also has a clientside API that may be of some interest.  If you can post exactly what you need to accomplish it may be easier to get more exact with an answer but the above information should get you started
