There is a question about this in the AD forum, but I wanted to try here as well...

Has anyone tried using ADFS for single sign on within DNN?  I just heard about ADFS yesterday, so I am in the beginning stages of research.  I was hoping to use ADFS for single sign on for multiple child portals in place of the AD module.  Would it work this way?  Or would it work in conjunction with the AD module?  The reason I want to do this is to allow for single sign on with all our other web application as well (financial system, analysis tools, email, etc).

has anyone explored this?

EDIT:  It appears there are three typs of implementation.  I think I would be interested in the Web SSO deployment (not Federated Web SSO or Federated Web SSO with Forest Trust)
