Hi folks,

I want to add a New Tab in Admin Menu - Manage Attributes . I have my controls for that tab also. I created datas ifor the new tabs Tabs and Modules tables but the url i am getting for the new tab is as shown below

http://localhost/RedAlpha/Portals/0/

 

what is the my mistake

Pleas help me asap

Open the Tabs table in your database.  Look at how the other Admin tabs are setup.  You need to make yours look like those.  The most important settings are the parentid (generally 38 for portalid 0), Level should be 1, and TabPath should be //Admin//[TabName] (//Admin/ManageAttributes in your case)

The url should look something like:

http://www.mydomain.com/Admin/[TabName]/tabid/[TabID]/default.aspx

For you it will be something like:

http://localhost/RedAlpha/Admin/ManageAttributes/tabid/[TabID]/default.aspx

What do you mean by control?  Do you mean module?  If so, just add the module to the page before you make your changes in the database.  If you mean something else, give us a description of what you are trying to do.
