I have a site that needs to have a generic password/keyword to get into but needs the ability for the user to create an account of their own once inside to purchase products securely.   My thought is to have a generic login page using asp.net that sets a session variable and then the dnn default.aspx page looks for the variable before displaying the page.   Once the initial passcode is entered, the site is open for the buyers to create their dnn account and purchase products.  Does anyone have any insight or experience with someone like this?  Will this work?

Scenario...
User enters a keyword at a login page (non dnn)
Successful keyword redirects to default.aspx (dnn) page and sets session variable
Default.aspx check for valid session variable and redirects back to login page (non dnn) if invalid
DNN pages are displayed with no user logged in.  User can create an account and purchase at this point.

Thanks in advance,

T
