Hopefully someone can help.  I'm new to dotnetnuke programming.  I wrote a module that works fine if the user has Edit rights to the module.  However, if a user doesn't have edit module rights the postback events won't fire.  I've put break points at the Page_Load event and a link button Click event.  The page load event fires the first time I open the module, but won't fire on any postback events.  Again, works fine if the user has edit rights.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

- Matt

Actually I found my answer.  I needed to set the Page Settings:Cache Timeout to 0 for my module.

When you say that Page_Load does not fire on postback when the user does not have edit rights on the module, do you mean that it fails when the user is not logged in?  If so, it may be that module data cacheing is interferring with postbacks when the user is not authenticated.  Try these two tests: 1) With logged in user who does not have edit rights on the module and 2) with module's cache time set to 0.

The cache time set to zero fixed it.  Thanks!
