Hello

My custom modules are not loading and no module-frame or title is visible when inserting a module an on page.
If I load other modules (from the internet).. they works.

The problem is that there are no error logs, just a (green) log when the module is added to a page.

The DNN 4.33 install is a new one (new created DB, ...)... where I have copied my custom modules (which worked before) to my desktopmodule folder.

Someone know how to fix ?

I have found what the problem was... stupid thing

in a module definition, you can add users controls and for each user control you have the field 'key'. The help shows that this is an unique name.. so I filled something in.
But luckely somewhere in this forum (after +- 25 pages), I have found that at least one control in a module must have an empty key name.. WHY? .. no idea.. but my DNN worked again.. :-)

I have had this same problem and you are right.  Making one key blank fixed the problem.  Too bad none, and yes I have read all of the documentation, makes mention of this.  I really love Dot Net Nuke but its documentation is lacking.  I know it isn't a high priority but if you make an Open-Source product that doesn't have good documentation then it makes it really difficult to fix problems like this.  Hint hint.

It's in the Module Developer's guide ;P

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
