Hi there,

my custom module has lots of textboxes and I want the user to confirm his entries by clicking a button which will then lead him to a second page. In "normal life" I would always do this by using the Response.Redirect() but I am hoping that there is some easier way in DNN than to find out what "internal URL" my 2nd page has.

Thanks for your help guys!

If you know the name of the module on your second page you can lookup the page with this module name, I don't have the code in front of me though. Try looking at the module controller class and the GetModulesBydefinition function

Thanks for your reply Chris!
I had a look at the ModuleController and it seems that the GetModuleByDefinition() returns a ModuleInfo.
I browsed through that class and quite frankly I don't really see how I can use that as URL for accessing that second page. However I did see the tabid of that module. So the only thing I can imagine is to use something like:
http://www.mysite.com/myKnownPageName/tabid/theTabIDfromModuleInfo/Default.aspx

I am gonna give this a try next year....lol...always love those end-of-the year jokes ;-)

Hope you're gonna enjoy your new-years-eve party!

Best regards,

Tillman
