I'm having problems in implementing ajax PopUpControl in my module:

in my skin I added these rows:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">

<asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager1" runat="server" EnablePartialRendering="true" />

in my ascx control I have these rows

                            <asp:TextBox ID="txtDATA" runat="server" Width="90px"/>
                            <ajaxToolkit:PopupControlExtender ID="PopupControlExtender1" runat="server" TargetControlID="txtDATA" PopupControlID="pnlCALENDARIO" Position="Bottom" />
                            <asp:Panel ID="pnlCALENDARIO" runat="server">
                                <asp:UpdatePanel ID="UpdatePanel1" runat="server" UpdateMode="Always">
                                <ContentTemplate>
                                    <center>
                                    <asp:Calendar ID="calDATA" runat="server" BackColor="White" BorderColor="#999999" CellPadding="1" DayNameFormat="Shortest" Font-Names="Verdana" Font-Size="8pt" ForeColor="Black" Width="160px" >
                                        <SelectedDayStyle BackColor="#666666" Font-Bold="True" ForeColor="White" />
                                        <TodayDayStyle BackColor="#CCCCCC" ForeColor="Black" />
                                        <SelectorStyle BackColor="#CCCCCC" />
                                        <WeekendDayStyle BackColor="#FFFFCC" />
                                        <OtherMonthDayStyle ForeColor="#808080" />
                                        <NextPrevStyle VerticalAlign="Bottom" />
                                        <DayHeaderStyle BackColor="#CCCCCC" Font-Bold="True" Font-Size="7pt" />
                                        <TitleStyle BackColor="#999999" Font-Size="7pt" BorderColor="Black" Font-Bold="True" />
                                    </asp:Calendar>
                                    </center>
                                </ContentTemplate>
                                <Triggers>
                                    <asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="calDATA" EventName="SelectionChanged" />
                                </Triggers>
                                </asp:UpdatePanel>
                            </asp:Panel>

but the Calendar is always visible!!! Why? And also the SelectionChanged event return an exception not handles in in System.Web.Extensions.dll:

    RegisterDataItem can only be called during an async postback

Anyone can help me??

Thank you very much in advance.
