I am new to DotNetNuke and I would like to start doing some customization to some of the modules.  I have found the source for one of the modules I would like to review, the repository module.  I have the source of the core DotNetNuke up and running on my development computer.  I understand that I do not need to have that entire solution in Visual Studio to debug the repository module.  My first question is where in the directory structure should I unpack the zip file so that I can jump in and start working on the module.  I tried one location that I thought was a good starting point and it ended up giving me 146 errors and tons of warnings.  Any pointers on how to get started editing a module would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Dan

you usually use /desktopmodules/modulename, for your fork, you might use a different name than the original to prevent it gets overwritten on Upgrades. Don't forget to adopt the namespaces appropriately.
