HowIUseDNN.com 'A free resource for the DotNetNuke Community'

Introducing 'How I Use DotNetNuke' at HowIUseDNN.com. A different kind of site dedicated to helping members of the DotNetNuke community figure out the best use of DNN including all the free DNN project modules and the many great 3rd party modules, skins and tools. Please register and post the ways that you use DotNetNuke and specific modules. Registered users can try out modules in our PLAYGROUND. HowIUseDNN.com is also a place for you to promote the great work you have done on your site and increase traffic. So please post your 'Usage Story' in our forum and feel free to promote your own products or site. If your product is not listed on the forum please let us know and we will add it.  Module Developers who post will get free banner ads! Also please create a profile of you, your business or organization!

What we want to accomplish...

Share your ideas and Help Others - We want to help others by showing some of the standard and unique ways to use DotNetNuke, all of the modules included free and those purchased from 3rd party vendors.  If you have any questions about anything DotNetNuke related we will try and answer them for you. If we don't know we will do our best to find out for you.

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Each week we will feature a new DotNetNuke Product. Some weeks it may be a project module available free from DotNetNuke and other times it will be a 3rd Party module or tool.

Currently we are featuring a tool that you can use to build your very own DotNetNuke module! SoCanI.org's Module Builder is an easy-to-use, step-by-step wizard that will save hours of programming time developing custom modules and applications. I have created many modules using the Beta versions of Module Builder. I have two simple modules in the 'Modules In Action' section of HowIUseDnn.com. Please take a look at the 'Custom Video' and the 'Press Release' modules. You have access to test out both modules in the HowIUseDNN.com Playground! Let us know if you need any help!

FEATURED DOWNLOAD

The DNN Repository Projects Modified Source Code

We added a Custom Sort Option and some very usable Templates for Audio and Video. This is not a Private Assembly but the modified source version of Repository Project 3.10. Recommended for programmers with access to the database. Please follow the directions carefully. Let us know if you need any help!

Have fun and please share!
