New Community Website

Ordinarily, you'd be at the right spot, but we've recently launched a brand new community website... For the community, by the community.

Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.
In order to participate you must be a registered DNNizen

This module was created from the default DNN 4.5.0 Portal Signup webfiles. The purpose of this module is to avoid some of the "flaws" in the default Demo portal feature as part of the DNN framework v. 4.5.0.
(see http://www.dotnetnukes.com/Members/Blog/tabid/94/EntryID/7/Default.aspx)

Download Signup_01.00.00_Install.zip: click here

Install:
- upload module through Host/ ModuleDefinitions
- place module on page for further usages
- if needed adjust texts through language editor: modules/signup/app_resources
- a working example can be found at: http://www.dotnetnukes.info/fwddnn322

This module is offered for free as is. No support is provided.

Furthermore we're happy to announce that we've managed to create our own Demo portals website (http://www.dotnetnukes.info) as well!

- Current DNN version 4.5.0
- Your personal webportal will be active for 5 days.
- The amount of webspace for your portal is currenly set at: 5 Mb.
- The number of useraccounts that can be created: 3
- The number of pages allowed: 5

Depending on the amount of traffic we will try to extend the amount of days, space, pages and users. This is not to compete with the official DNN Demosite, but should be considered complementary to a great service for a growing community (and hopefully a succesfull experiment)..

And finally while you're at it, to get a first good impression of what you can do with the portal or what features are available, come and visit the Modules demo site at:

http://www.dotnetnukes.info/fwsbasic

Here you will find the latest DNN installation currently available (v. 4.5.0) with all the latest core modules installed, projects and a growing list of none core modules. It's a work in progress but this should give you some idea of what you can do with your demo site.

Greetings.

Kind regards,
