You need thousands of users for testing purpose i.e. for performance testing? Just download our new free module. It will enable you to generate hundreds of users in just a few seconds. Get it for free at Effority.Net

I need to do just this, but instead of users I need pages.

Does anybody know if a script or module exists somewhere?

Here's some TSQL to create Tabs, Modules, Permissions, etc.  It's kind of old, but it should get you going.

Thanks to both of you.

I need functionality to generate potentially hundred of pages (tabs) mainly to test the performance of various menu providers.

Here is what I envision:

  • 1st step: generate let's say 20 top menu items (I enter "5" to randomly generate tab names 5 characters long)
  • 2nd step: generate 10 second level menu items under each top level menu item generated in step 1
  • 3rd step: generate 5 third level menu items under each second level menu item generated in step 2

Please let me know if that makes sense.
