SKINCOVERED SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE
12 Months Subscription to to http://www.skincovered.com
July skincovered represents a significant step forward in skinning techniques with the release of our first XHTML skin that complies and looks great. Pure CSS with tables for ease of management, and plenty of panes, and you can even hide the panes by changing some small sections of code.
This skin has been tested in many browsers and at last, we have a Windows version of Safari to view our work. (Can I mention I'm quite impressed with the performance and look and feel of the new Windows Safari Browser - If you've not seen it - check it out HERE)
Don't like how the skin looks, or you want to make changes to suit your needs, then the well crafted and layered PSD file has perfect slicing allowing you to simply overlay your design over the top, and then reslice... and voila - your own Web 2.0 style skin customised. Sure there are a few limitations, like anything, but the layout here allows you much higher degree of site management. We love this skin layout so much, we're making it the structure for our future sites coming up. We will be using this as the basis to create some of our future SkinCovered subscription skins for our premium subscribers.
Included in the release is the Snapsis CSS Menu, and the hours spent in creating this skin to be flexible, Web 2.0 in styling and format and it is the very first skin in DNN to have a PURE CSS MENU, BASED ON IMAGES. Yes, you can now have GRAPHICAL MENUS, GRAPHICAL MOUSEOVERS on your menus, but you're not restricted to use just that menu, you can drop in your other menu code and customise it again. (Of course this might limit your skin's XHTML compliancy but the choice is yours)
We are currently tweaking and modifying this great skin to make it one of the best DNN Web 2.0, CSS, XHTML compliant skins around. Easy to mix and match, and designed in a way that you could easily make your own design and completely replace it. This is a pure SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY CSS BASED MENU. You don't need a degree in programming to master.
This xhtml skin has been accomplished without any core changes and with the use of PageBlaster, you could have this skin coform to XHTML STRICT, just as http://www.snapsis.com does.
Thank you -
