Hi to all DNN developers and users...

I'm proud to announce we published 2 modules along with the code

DotNetNuke comments module - Comments module allows you to add basic comments feature on you portal. Visitors can comment articles or any other content of the page with option to reply to each other.
DotNetNuke media module - It can help you to add different types of media feature onto your pages. You can add pictures or YouTube videos by simple youtube search api.

More comming soon...

IMPORTANT: not to be used in production environment, still in beta. Please contact us for free support

Hope you will like our modules

Should be fixed now.

Tnx for reporting the issue

I recommend to take a look at the comments module as it is much more standard than the media one (we worked with NetTiers code generator for DAL layer for media, way to complicated). The road map for the comments module is:

  • Settings for registered/unregistered users
  • Comments administration
  • Comments notification
  • Enabling reply (already done needs some improvement)
  • Template design with tokens in the settings

We plan to enable a SVN repository for the comments module soon so we will enable people to contribute.

Also if you need help setting it up we offer free support, just contact us.

Regards

On your page you're talking about a Version 1.1, but when downloading only a 1.0 Version is available (according to the DNN-File and visible under Modules in the Host Menu)

As i have a big problem with it (crash) i think this could be the answer why. If not, i will report the error-codes to your mail-address

Kai
