Efficion has recently release versino 4.1.4 of our popular Articles module for DotNetNuke. This version is compatible with DotNetNuke 4.6.2 or higher.

Changes in 4.1 include:

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where the Rich Text Editor wasn't appearing under IE8
  • Added some missing {databaseowner}{objectqualifier} tokens

New Features

  • Comment Moderation: Ability to Delete comments (edit and reply coming soon)
  • New Templates (2 Column, 3 Column, Title_Subhead)
  • Sort Options: Added "Random"
  • Permissions: We're now using the main module permissions grid to control rights.
  • Admins can now specify what roles and/or users are allowed to Approve articles. This is integrated with the permissions grid.
  • Admins can now specify what roles and/or users are allowed to edit Articles that were created by other users

Improvements

  • Improved handling of the Module Title
  • Improvements to the search results- now displays Category Filters and adds new styling
  • Improved Detail Display options: Admins can now select a specific module to display details in.
  • Module Copy Support: Changed from using TabModuleSettings to ModuleSettings so the module can be copied and retain settings.
  • Lots of other minor fixes,code cleanup, and improvements
