Coding Staff is proud to announce a new release of Menu Box module, version 1.00.04

Menu Box live demo | Menu Box screenshots | Menu Box free download | DNN Skin Design

Coding Staff presents absolutely free DotNetNuke® Navigation platform based on W3C standards and years of skinning challenge that we all had with standard dnn menu provider. There are two new words in dotnetnuke skinning and portal development Menu Box and Menu Factory.

Menu Box is a menu module for DotNetNuke® CMS that could hold multiple design themes. Each Menu Theme could be applied to Menu Box creating a menu or site map out of it. Menu Box is being shipped with few standard menu themes for clean, CSS based and SEO friendly DotNetNuke Menu and dnn sitemap.

Menu Factory is an online service that you can use to create custom menu themes and apply to Menu Box. Of course, you can design and code custom themes; however, you don't have to if you don't want to - leave it up to Menu Factory.

We will be happy to hear any recommendations and ideas for improvements of this product. Please don't hesitate to discuss this module via DotNetNuke Forum, Snowcovered or directly contact Coding Staff.

Very nice work.

I haven't downloaded the module yet - but I have vieded the videos.  A couple of suggestions if not already implemented:

1.  For the menu once it is placed on a tab, be able to specify the Top Level - and also be able to either show or not show Hidden tabs.  For instance, I I place this level on a 2nd level page, I would want to specify that level as the Top Level - to only show the child pages.

2.  If you could come up with a way to create an automated install for a skin object for the menu created that would be awesome.

Allan, thanks for your suggestions. Very valuable.

1. Yes, we will implement this function in next versions. We got some requests regarding this already.

2. Good idea, we will keep that in mind.

Thanks,

Coding Staff
