Engage launched Engage University last year as an e-Learning resource for DotNetNuke. The site is built on DNN of course, and powered by our Engage: Campus LMS. Our first course Introduction to DotNetNuke was a free, short course to provide an overview of what DNN is and how it can be applied. The course also serves as an example for how Engage: Campus works, and more importantly, what students will get in an e-Learning experience for DotNetNuke. During the past 10 months, over 350 students have taken the free Introductory course.

More e-Learning

We're now proud to announce that we have two additional e-Learning courses available: DotNetNuke Essentials and Content Administration. DotNetNuke Essentials is our popular foundational course that provides a broad overview of DNN and serves as a basis for all other DotNetNuke classes. This course has been previously delivered in classroom, on-site and webinar formats.

Content Administration is geared towards end-users of DotNetNuke who are responsible for maintaing a site's content. The course demonstrates the ease of content management while teaching best practices for maintaining a great website.

Virtual Classroom On-Demand

In the Spring of 2009, Engage started offering Virtual Classroom Training (Instructor-led webinars) for our 1-day classes DotNetNuke Essentials, Portal Administration and Skinning Essentials. The series started with a free 2-hour Introduction to DNN. These classes were each offered in (3) 2-hour webinar sessions. While these classes were well received, scheduling quickly became a challenge. The sessions were offered from 12pm-2pm Central time, which worked well for students in North America, but difficult for those abroad. This past summer, we tried to acommondate other time zones by varying our scheduling, but unfortunately we were unable to satisfy everyone.

Engage is excited to announce Virtual Classroom Training is now available on-demand. We have expanded Engage University to include this new video training in addition to our e-Learning.
