1.  Introduction
     Dnn has a powerful and flexible skin architecture. But sometimes it is a little inconvenience to find a suitable skin(or container) from skin list through dnn standard way, especially when you have a lot of skin/container packages. 
 
     Besides that, you may want change skin/container and even portal logo/background images on some special days.It is a little inconvenient because you have to change them manually.

     With our skin chameleon module ,everything will be easily. It can help site administrator switch skin/container and portal logo/background more quickly, more straightforward and more effectively.

    You can specify different skin/container/logo/background image for different period. For example, you can specify a Christmas related skin between 12/15 and 12/18, when 12/15 comes, module will automatic change your skin to it, and will change back to default skin after 12/18.


2.  Precondition
    1. Dnn 5.1.0 and above
    2. Sql server 2005/2008 or sql express 2005/2008
    3. Asp.net framework 3.5 and above.
 
3.  Try before you buy
    We strongly recommend you try this module before you buy. You can download trial version at http://www.dnnmodules.cn/FreeDownload....  The trial version has the same features with the official version, but it can only used in localhost domain names.

5.  Module Features

5.1  Portal Skin
    Click “portal  skin” under “portal” section will let you switch portal skins. If you login in as host account (super user), you can manage multiple portals at the same time. If you login in as site administrator, you can only change current portal skin. 

  
    You can add rules for view mode or edit mode. Click the left skin category item
will display related skins.  Enter start date and end date, click “Add” to add this rule. If start date equals today, module will change portal skin right now.
        You can click “preview” button to preview selected skin before you add it.
          
    5.2  Portal Container
    Click “portal  container” under “portal” section will let you switch portal skins. If you login in as host account (super user), you can manage multiple portals at the same time. If you login in as site administrator, you can only change current portal container. 

     5.3  Portal Logo
    Click “portal logo” under “portal” section will let you switch portal logo image. If you login in as host account (super user), you can manage multiple portals at the same time. If you login in as site administrator, you can only change current portal logo. 




     5.4  Portal Background
    Click “background image” under “portal” section will let you switch portal background image. If you login in as host account (super user), you can manage multiple portals at the same time. If you login in as site administrator, you can only change current portal background. 
            
   5.4  Page Skin
    Click “page  skin” under “page” section will let you switch page skins.

   5.5  Page Container
    Click “page  container” under “page” section will let you switch page containers.

   5.6  Module Container
      Click “module  container” under “module” section will let you switch module containers.
   
   4.7 Apply right now
     Module uses dnn schedule jobs to perform background/skin/container switch, your rules may need sometime to take effect. Click "Apply" button under “Apply right now” section to change them based your rules right now.
