Do you love DotNetNuke?  Are you experienced in C#?  If your dream job includes working with DNN, building modules, managing installations and helping DNN users, then this may be the job for you.  United Benefit Advisors, a member-owned alliance of the nation's premier independent employee benefits advisory firms, is hiring a new DotNetNuke C# Web Developer / Analyst.  This organization combines the best of two worlds: you will have the opportunity to make "big company" positive impact but with "small company" nimbleness.

In this permanent, full-time position, you will work with others who are DNN fans and developers.  Our company is friendly, team-focused, practical and collaborative.  You will be responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of DotNetNuke-based modules, web applications, and portals, as well as assistance with production of e-publications and online content.  You will also assist internal staff and UBA Member Firms with technical support of our tools.

You must be high energy, have a team mentality, and a passion to dive in to get the work done. If you think you have what it takes to provide exceptional service to our 140+ member firms, go to http://ubajobs.iapplicants.com and apply for the "C# Web Developer Analyst" position to initiate the process.

Duties:

You will design, build and test new "modules" using DotNetNuke and assist with the development and maintenance of new web sites and pages. You will integrate DNN sites with back-end applications and perform day-to-day administration of the organization's web-based and e-publication portfolio. You will execute web-based development projects, including intranet and internet, and diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing web applications and websites. You will identify, recommend and prioritize new web features and applications in conjunction with UBA leadership and staff. Assisting marketing staff with production of recurring web-based programs and deliverables, auditing online content and formatting new e-publications will be key responsibilities for you. You will provide support for UBA technology used by our Member Firms.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a self-motivated, independent, bright, articulate professional who is collaborative, yet can work independently. Adaptability, accuracy, attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service are a must.

REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency with web technologies and tools, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of database development, including Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
  • Experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive web applications and websites.
  • A strong desire and willingness to help people.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • BS in computer science and 5+ years related work experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in web development using C# or VB.NET.

PREFERRED:

  • A strong understanding of DotNetNuke.
  • Knowledge of OpenWebStudio is a plus.
