This post is to announce that the SigmaPro VSIP (Visual Studio) Integration Package will be released with SigmaPro 6.0 Enterprise.  The BETA release is currently pending Microsoft approval.

Why VSIP? The SigmaPro Visual Studio Integration Package is one component of many to be released in SigmaPro Draconis 6.0 Enterprise to make it easier to accurately collect metrics and maintain tasks by integrating into your teams.  All other project management and help desk systems require your teams to interact with the solution; which requires team discipline and results is lost time.  SigmaPro Draconis 6.0 is bringing the solution to you and integrating into PC related tasks you already perform, such as sending and replying to emails.

What Else? The SigmaPro 6.0 Email Monitor will automatically intercept and log emails against new or existing items.  Microsoft Office Add-Ins for SigmaPro will allow you to easily and quickly maintain projects and support tickets.

How? The Visual Studio and Microsoft Office Add-Ins provide new menu’s, docking tool windows and more to give you easy access to your assigned projects, tasks and support tickets.  Some key features include the ability to track time via check-out and check-in time stamping, attach Microsoft Office Documents and work with new or existing assigned tasks.

When? Components are being released as they pass initial testing.  The Email Monitor subsystem and an integrating Windows Service was released to BETA early September.  The entire solution is expected to be released to production by October 2006.

Who? OnyakTech Subscribers have access to the BETA releases from www.OnyakTech.com.   The final release will be available to Enterprise Subscribers and for individual sale.
