Hi,

I'm using the store module.  I wanted to test out the Paypal.  I did checkout and made the payment and the payment was completed and clicking the return button, I was redirected to my website.  The problem is the payment information from paypal was not updated into my shopping cart and the order status is showing Pending Payment.  Even though I could make the payment in the paypal, there was a javascript error 'object required' in the paypal website.  I'm not too sure was that the reason for not reflecting the payment in my shopping cart.

I need an urgent solution for this where I do the payment in the paypal and the payment status reflected in the shopping cart.  Please anyone can give me the solution will be very much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

SS

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi,

I'm using Store_01.00.01.  Payment in the paypal is validated and the paypal transaction is successful but when it returns back to my store portal it goes back to the home page.  when I check the status of the order, it shows as Pending Payment.

Thanks & Regards,

SS

There is a mechanism called IPN that permits Paypal to inform your portal about the transaction status. I'm not sure if that was implemented in store 01.00.01. If not, there is no way that your store can be aware of the transaction's success and you have to rely on you Paypal admin page to check the effective payments - then manually change the Pending Payment in the customers's order status.
