Hi all

I'm new to DNN and have taken a big step and designed my new online store using the DNN store module. There's a few things I would like to be able to add... like a drop down colour or size selector etc... is there a place where I can get someone to advise or assist how I can do this or do I need special developer to design a module for this.

Would also like to know if I have set up the Payment Gateway correctly.. I have just launched the store but I'm about to start major marketing campaign and don't want the site to fall over when people start to purchase online... I guess I am just asking where I could get this help or is there someone I can submit my site to for advice.

You don't say what payment gateway you are using but Paypal, Google and Authorize.net all have the ability to setup "sandboxes" where you can create sample users and run transactions.  Once you are ready, you just make the necessary changes to use the real gateways.

HI Michelle,

To get the drop down in the core store module you would have to get someone to modify that module.  I would suggest that you have a look in the marketplace or snowcovered.com to see if there is a 3rd party store module that better fits your needs rather than go the custom development path as it will probably be cheaper.

As to whether the payment gateway is set up properly the best way to put your mind at rest is to make a couple of purchases yourself.

The stability of the site is primarily down to your host.  DNN itself can handle busy sites.

You should get some help here in the forums or find someone in the resource directory http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/ResourceDirectory/tabid/702/Default.aspx

When I click on your store I just get a blank area to the right. No products shown.
