Hi,

I am pretty new to dnn and I am currently setting up my first online store with this system.

Thought I would ask, which is the best way to go when setting up an online store???

Catalook???

Ali Commerce???

DNN Store Module???

 

Also what other processes and costs am I looking at:

SSL Certificate???

Payment Gateway???

Merchant account???

Anything else???

 You will have to determine what cart is best for your needs. If you can list all the functionality you need from the cart, people here can give their feedback on which one they think will work best. Some might be much more 'advanced' than your needs, and not worth the time the set up takes. Others may be too simple, depends on what you need to do with the cart.

It is certainly adviseable to have a SSL cert. You will need someone to process payments through. (That's all I know about that last section)

Hi, Thankyou very much for your reply, greatly appreciated!

I have 2 clients with different needs:

Client 1: This client requires a cart that has around 20-50 products, where reports, invoices, etc can be generated. Sizes, Colours, Qty also have to be options when purchasing goods. (Approx. 500 units sold each month)

Client 2: This client requires a cart that has around 100-1000 products, where reports, invoices, etc can be generated. Sizes, Colours, Qty also have to be options when purchasing goods. (Approx. 1000 units sold each month)
