I am trying to display two prices to the user while they are browsing the products, prior to drilling down to the product detail level.  I can accomplish this by using the promotions feature, but I am wondering if there is an easy way to change the verbiage.  By default, it will say something like "Was $1000 Now $500" and I would like to change it to "List Price $1000 Your Price $500."

I looked at the template files and in the Languages section but didn't see anything.  Is there away to get at that text without messing in the source code?

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Of course yes, you can change all strings using the DNN Language Editor! Loggin as Admin, go to Admin > Languages > Language Editor. In the left pane, expand Local Resources > DesktopModules > Store > App_LocalResources > ProductDetail.ascx. Now in the right pane search the resource name SpecialOffer.Text and change it as needed then save. You must NOT remove the strings {0} and {1}, they are used to inject prices.

You should read also the Templating Guide available at Codeplex.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
