Hello,

I am trying to narrow the mini cart display so that it will fit in my left-hand navigation column.

I have removed the 4th column of the mini cart as this is not needed but am not able to see how I narrow the mini cart width to 250px.

Please can someone advise how I do this.

Regards,

Trevor

Hi Trevor,

How do you have removed the column? If you have modified the ascx control, it's NOT a good idea! Each part of the Store modules can be controled by CSS classes. As a sample, you could simply add a directive display: none for the classes StoreMiniCartControlHeader, StoreMiniCartControl and StoreMiniCartControlFooter to hide the control column. You can use the class StoreMiniCartWrapper to control the width container of the Store Mini Cart module. Instead using the Store Mini Cart you could use the Store Micro Cart skin object if you need just a cart resume. Please download and read the Templating Guide available at Codeplex. Using IE8 Dev Tools (F12) or FF3 with FireBug it's really easy to discover all used class names.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
