The latest upgrade on codeplex solved my display problems in firefox and chrome.  Thanks!

We need to change the "Add to Cart" and "Buy Now!" links and buttons to point to a third party web site.  Our cart and payment information is handled through this third party. How do we go about changing this in the store module?

Thanks in advance,

Christian

Hi Christian,

The Store module is provider based. You can create your own gateway provider using the source version. Tell me the name of your third party web site and his url web site, I will have a look at it and guide you on how to do it. If the customer is redirected to another web site to pay, it's probably close to the PayPal provider. At the end of the checkout, the PayPal provider transmit the content cart and payment informations to PayPal and receive a response from PayPal in the background to validate payment and update order status. Please read this post to install the source version.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thank you for your response.

I have found out the third party web site only stores the order and credit card information.  Then we do a manual processing of the credit card.  Can we save the order information and credit card number in DNN Store Module until it can be retrieved by an authorized person to manually process it?

Thanks,

Christian

Hi Christian,

If you create a new gateway provider you can do it. May be you could use the AuthorizeNet provider as a base and instead to call their server for authorization you will have to store customer card informations in your own table. You will have to create a very simple module to display cart infos to authorized manager.
