Good Morning!  Found this error this morning about a file not found.

The file is there but named wrong.  It is named Thumbnail.ashx
Can I just rename it Thumbnail.aspx  ?

Or is it just googlebot looking for a file that is not there anymore.?

Hi Jonathan,

This is NOT an error, the name is CORRECT!

An ASHX page is an HTTP Handler, while ASPX is a classic page. An HTTP Handler is more quicker than a classic page when you do not need a user interface. Thumbnail.aspx has been converted to an HTTP Handler an renamed Thumbnail.ashx. DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME!

It's strange than Googlebot "read" images, you can simply ignore this error.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
