Hello,

I just started playing with the 2.1.36 release and making some changes to the source for a project of mine. Now I see there is a new release coming with some exciting new features, and it looks like you are getting very close to submitting it to the release tracker!

I do understand that you will not release the source code until it is ready, and you can't make commitments about release dates. Can  you just tell me if the source code will be released (in any state - I don't really mind) before or after the module passes through the release tracker?

Sorry if this is the kind of question you were requesting we don't ask - if the source won't be released for some time I will stop checking CodePlex every day .

Thank you for the effort you put into the module. I am learning a lot just from reading the code - I am impressed how well structured it is!

Hi Laurence,

What kind of changes do you need? If they are usefull for others, you can make a proposal here. Most of times, I add requested features in the module. You can also submit directly a patch at Codeplex.

The code will be released when the final version will be ready and submitted to the release tracker. From six months, maximum 20 people have tested the beta version! You can verify this by the number of download for each release at CodePlex. It's a shame because everyone want a better software but no one spend a little time to test! I'm alone to develop the module and I worked hard for this project, but I can not test all possible combinations. It is simply impossible!

If no bug is submitted within a week or two, I will submit the final version with source code at Codeplex and to the release tracker.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles, All I have done so far is add some extra attributes to products, and created tokens to display them. Not particularly exciting I know, but I am teaching myself C# by doing this project! If a set of custom attributes (e.g. named "ExtraAttribute1", "ExtraAttribute2", "ExtraAttribute3" etc) were added to the module I think that would be useful to many people. I am just getting started with using the module, and if I find any bugs I will report them here. Thanks again.
