My DNN installation is stalling and producing very weird errors. I think I have found the issue, but I need some help. There is no easy way to purge old shopping cart items and orders (or I can't find it).

How do I clean up my DNN Store database tables? Is there an SQL query I can execute?

Thanks!

Hi Thomas,

Could you specify which version of the Store module you use?

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I was using version 1.x. I have recently tested version 3.x and have decided to simple do a clean install. Yet, my question stands: what are the appropriate steps to take in order to keep the data from clogging the database? Is there a maintenance solution?

Hi Thomas,

From the version 02.01.37, you have 3 stored procedures to clean unsued data:

dnn_Store_Orders_PurgeOrders {d 'YYYY-MM-DD'} - Purge non placed orders until the specifed date (included)

dnn_Store_Cart_PurgeCarts {d 'YYYY-MM-DD'} - Purge carts until the specified date (included)

dnn_Store_Addresses_PurgeAddresses - Purge unused addresses (not in any order), it's probably NOT a good idea to use this one!

Login as host and go to Host > SQL. Enter the command in the text box, check 'Run as script' and click on 'Execute'.
